Join the fun this spring with North Star FC’s Austin Recreational League! Our program is designed for players of all skill levels who are looking to enjoy the game in a fun, supportive, and community-driven environment.
We offer leagues for boys and girls in the following age groups:

Pre-K (age 4) – Kindergarten

1st & 2nd Grade
Players should register based on the grade they will enter for the 2025–2026 school year.

Practice & Registration Information
All practices for Pre K-2nd grade will be held at Todd Park or Shirley Theel Park- this is TBA
Practices start at 5:30pm - (can work around coach's schedule)
Grades Pre K-K – Practice night- Tuesdays
Grades 1/2- Practice nights- Monday/Wednesday
Practices will start the week of September 1st. The season will conclude October 11th. All games will be played on Saturdays. Total of 6 weeks!
Registration - May 15th- July 31st
FREE REGISTRATION Opportunity: North Star FC offers free player registration if parent agrees to coach a team. That’s correct, FREE soccer registration if you coach a team!
Grade PreK- K (COED)- $55
Boys / Girls Registration- $60
– Grades 1/2

At North Star FC, we believe every child should have the opportunity to play, regardless of financial circumstances. If you need assistance, we offer a Financial Aid option during registration through PlayMetrics.
To apply:
- Log in to PlayMetrics and begin the registration process.
- Click on the "Financial Aid" tab before completing your registration.
- Submit your application with the required information.
Once submitted, your request will be reviewed by our team. You will receive an email notification once your application has been approved or denied. After receiving a decision, you may proceed with registering for the program.
If you have any questions or need help with the process, don’t hesitate to contact us.
We need your help! This program does not exist unless we have volunteer coaches. We provide you with all the lesson plans and equipment. If you are interested in coaching, please contact Fabian Becerril at fbecerril@minnesotarush.com
Each player will receive a team top. The committee orders a general set of sizes for each team.
Players must provide:
– Shin guards
– Soccer Cleats or Tennis Shoes
– Soccer Ball
– Water Bottle
