General Information

Futsal Academy (League Teams)

October 30th, 2024 through March 18th, 2025

Program designed for players with more commitment to soccer/futsal that are interested in a more competitive environment.

  • Age 9-High School(2007-2016 birth year), Boys and Girls
    2 practices per week
    RCTC Field House
    League games
    MN Futsal League
    All games played at YWCA: 2121 E Lake Street, Minneapolis, MN
    2 games per day (when possible)
  • Local, Regional and National Tournaments (optional)**
    Tryouts
  • North Star FC game gear (Not included)

Practice Information

Tryouts

Oct 20, 2024(Sunday)

  • U8-12 – 3-4:30pm
  • U13-14 430-6pm
  • Location- RCTC Field House
  • Teams will be formed based on tryouts
  • Please keep in mind your son/daughter might not make the team. There will be no guaranteed substitute program for them.

How do we form teams:

  • 7-11 players – one team
  • 12 to 18 players
  • Less than 7 no team or combine age groups
  • Up to 18 player per age group
  • Boys and Girls practice on different times/courts 
  • We might move practice day, time or location based on gym availability
 

Once tryouts are complete, you will receive a follow up email from the Futsal staff. 

Player Cost Covers:

  • Coaching Fees
  • Age group Staff Coaches
  • RCTC Court fees
  • Website / Online registration platform
  • Team training equipment
  • Minnesota Futsal League fee (team registration)

Other events (Included)

  • North Star FC Futsal tournament  (December 6-8) – Rochester, MN

**There will be an extra cost if teams decide to play in events other than the MN Futsal League.

  • Winter Futsal Cup (December 27-30) Fort Lauderdale, FL
  • US Youth Futsal Regionals (January 24-26) – Minneapolis, MN
  • US Youth Futsal Regionals (February 14-16) – Overland Park, KS
  • US Futsal Nationals (July 2025 – TBA) – Las Vegas, NV

Days of Practice

  • U9-U12 Mondays and Wednesdays* – Boys and Girls
  • U13-HS Tuesdays and Thursdays* -Boys and Girls

*If facility is not available on those days we will practice on Friday evening or Saturday morning (if available)

Program Fees

Cost: $950
