New Team Registration Steps

Here’s how to get your team set up in PlayMetrics:

  1. Log in to your PlayMetrics account- or click on the link above.
  2. Click Club Programs → find Adult Coed.
  3. When registering, select “You want to register a team.”
  4. Complete the registration steps.

You can choose to:

  • Pay in full now, or
  • Pay in full on May 8 – this gives everyone time to collect funds from teammates.
(Unfortunately we can’t collect partial payments- so PLEASE DO NOT register unless you know you have a team)

Once you register your team, you’ll receive a team code.
Please share this code with your players — they’ll:

  1. Log in to PlayMetrics
  2. Go to Club Programs → Adult Coed
  3. Select “Register as a player”
  4. Enter your team code when prompted

When players complete registration, North Star FC Staff will periodically log in to approve and officially add players to the team roster. Let your players know it may not be immediate.

New benefits this season:

  • Digital waiver collection
  • Automatic tracking of yellow/red cards
  • Weekly printed rosters for referees

Through the power of the club we are hopeful we can form "House Teams" for players that do not have a team or help players find teams that are in need of players.

If we can not form a house team, we will publish your information from below to the captains- if they are interested they will contact you.

All rules associated with FIFA and USSF apply with the below variations:

* No sliding tackles. We are a recreational league and many do not slide tackle safely. We also want to keep the intensity down.

* Substitutions: you may substitute on your own throw-in, either teams goal kick, a score made, or a stoppage in play due to injury. You may also substitute on the other teams throw-in if they are also substituting. Players should be at the half line ready to substitute when the opportunity arises.

* A maximum of 6 male players are allowed on the field at a time. No maximum for female players.

* A game is a completed game if the first half has been completed.

* If a player receives a yellow card, that player is required to leave the field and another player substituted in. The player who leaves may return at the next substitution opportunity.

* If a player receives a red card which may be a red card direct or two yellow cards, that player must sit out the next game. If a player receives a second red card, that player is out for the next two games. If a player receives a third red card, that player is out the remainder of the season. The team captain is responsible for making sure the player sits out the appropriate number of games.

* If both teams have the same or very similar colors and the referee requires a change, the home team will change.
