Fall Pre-Developmental Academy U6-U8
(This used to be our Mini Kicks Program)
Our Pre-Developmental Academy is designed for players ages U6 to U8 who are ready to grow their passion for soccer in a fun, structured, and development-focused environment. This program serves as the foundation for long-term success, emphasizing the joy of the game while building the technical skills and early tactical understanding that players need as they advance.
Led by experienced and passionate coaches, players will improve their ball control, dribbling, passing, shooting, and small-sided decision-making—all while developing confidence and teamwork. Training sessions are age-appropriate, high-energy, and designed to keep kids engaged and constantly learning.
Whether your child is just starting or already showing strong potential, our Pre-Developmental Academy is the perfect next step in their soccer journey.
U6-U8 Information
August 24th- September 25th
Starting in the Fall 2026, US Club and USYS will begin the new birth year guidelines that all clubs will follow. Please see below:
U6- 8/1/2020- 7/31/2021
U7- 8/1/2019- 7/31/2020
U8- 8/1/2018- 7/31/2019
Location-
Training: Kepp (Longfellow)
Games: Watson
Training Schedule:
- 2x per week (M/W or T/Th)
- August 24th- September 11th- times are 530pm-615pm
- September 14th- 25th times move earlier due to daylight- 515pm-600pm
Genders will be combined if numbers are low
- U6-8 Girls M/W

Uniform
– Each player will be required to purchase a North Star FC Blue and White Top Jerseys ( Roughly $40)
– Uniforms will be numbered on back

Games
– Friday Evenings 530pm-630pm
– Dates-
August 28th, September 4, 11, 18, and 25
Cost:
– $200 per player for 2 days a week training

- Submit your application with the required information.
Once submitted, your request will be reviewed by our team. You will receive an email notification once your application has been approved or denied. After receiving a decision, you may proceed with registering for the program.
