General Information

Futsal Academy (League Teams)

The Futsal program is designed for players who are deeply dedicated to the sport of soccer and futsal. Led by the esteemed Coach Fio Santos, a futsal legend and multi-champion both as a player and coach, the program offers a unique opportunity to master the fast-paced game, which has its own specific rules and strategies. This training not only enhances your tactical and technical skills but also translates effectively to the larger soccer field. Our academy boasts several players who have represented the U.S. international team and have been invited to compete in various regions across the country and internationally. In addition to Coach Fio Santos, our team of coaches includes Lucas Caruzo and Dario Andrijasevic, ensuring a comprehensive and high-quality training experience.

  • PROGRAM OVERVIEW

    • October 20th through March 27th
    • Ages U9-U14 (2017-2012) Boys and Girls
    • 2x per week / 21 weeks*
    • Minnesota Futsal League (Minneapolis, MN)

    * Schedule might change due to court availability

    PRACTICE LOCATION

    RCTC Field House –851 College Pkwy SE, Rochester, MN 55904

    LEAGUE SCHEDULE 

    The season includes 12 matches minimum.  2 are preseason Friendly games, 10 are Regular season games, and the top 4 teams in each division will play additional post season playoffs to determine League Champions.  The season will start November 15 and run through Mar 29.

  • U9-U10- 530-645pm Court A and B
  • U11-U12- 645-800pm Court A and B

  • U13-U14- 530-645pm Court A and B

Location- RCTC Field House

    • Teams will be formed based on tryouts
    • Please keep in mind your son/daughter might not make the team. There will be no guaranteed substitute program for them.
       

      Once tryouts are complete, you will receive a follow up email from the Futsal staff.

      • Coaching Fees

      • RCTC Court fees
      • Website / Online registration platform
      • Team training equipment
      • Minnesota Futsal League fee (team registration)

      Other events (Included)

      • North Star FC Futsal tournament November 7-9 – Rochester, MN

      **There will be an extra cost if teams decide to play in events other than the MN Futsal League.

      Days of Practice

      • Will be determined after tryouts. We are still working through the complexity of the RCTC Fieldhouse schedule
