North Star FC is committed to helping players get involved. With that being said, we help from players. Generally we get enough male interest in forming a team, but we lack on the female side. If you are a male, please look to bring a female along with you. Registration is free right now- if we make a team we will divide up the team fee amongst everyone. We are a recreational league and many do not slide tackle safely. We also want to keep the intensity down.<\/p>\n<p>* Substitutions: you may substitute on your own throw-in, either teams goal kick, a score made, or a stoppage in play due to injury. You may also substitute on the other teams throw-in if they are also substituting. Players should be at the half line ready to substitute when the opportunity arises.<\/p>\n<p>* A maximum of 6 male players are allowed on the field at a time. No maximum for female players.<\/p>\n<p>* A game is a completed game if the first half has been completed.<\/p>\n<p>* If a player receives a yellow card, that player is required to leave the field and another player substituted in. The player who leaves may return at the next substitution opportunity.<\/p>\n<p>* If a player receives a red card which may be a red card direct or two yellow cards, that player must sit out the next game. If a player receives a second red card, that player is out for the next two games. If a player receives a third red card, that player is out the remainder of the season.
